Description

Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

In the publisher's original dust wrapper, price clipped.

An impressive volume featuring all three entries from Isaac Asimov's ground-breaking Foundation Trilogy, consisting of 'Foundation' (1951), 'Foundation and Empire' (1952), and 'Second Foundation' (1953). Asimov later began continuing the series in 1982 with 'Foundation's Edge'.

This trilogy won the one-time Hugo Award for "Best All-Time Series" in 1966.

These tales are set in a slowly declining Galactic Empire, based on the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

Dated 1976 via the gutter code '31 R' to the rear, and the code '1932' to rear flyleaf tail.
