Flat signed by the author and her husband to the half title 'with all good wishes, Hazel Wynn Jones, Stuart Wynn Jones'.
 
In this children's novel, a boy travels through time using a magic timepiece, and encounters Master Astrolabe, a thirteenth century alchemist, wizard, astronomer and flying sorcerer.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Minor shelf wear to spine tail, otherwise fine. Signed to front free endpaper. Dust wrapper exceptionally bright, with a minor closed tear to head of rear wrap, and light handling marks to rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
