This work was written by Richard Sidney Sayers, a British economist and banking historian, and provides a history of British banking from 1891-1944. The work covers subjects such as how WWI effected the bank, the crisis of 1931, the depression, and more. 

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrappers.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloths with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, lovely. The wraps are excellent with minor handling marks and the odd very small closed tear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
