A scarce issue of 'Rolling Stone', No. 229 for December 30th 1976.
This issue features a colourful illustration to the front wrap by Maurice Sendak, accompanying an article titled 'Maurice Sendak - King of All the Wild Things' by Jonathan Gott. Additionally including 'The Band's All Star Adieu' by Greil Marcus, an article on George Harrison by Charles Young, and 'A Rainy Day in Santa Marta' by Robert Sabbag.
Rolling Stone was founded in 1967, and focused on rock music and political reporting for the first decades of its publication.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart, with a few light handling marks and a little age-toning. Small tear to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean, with a few light handling marks.
