Paul Edward Theroux (born 1941) is an American novelist and travel writer who has written numerous books, including the travelogue The Great Railway Bazaar (1975). Some of his works of fiction have been adapted as feature films.
He was awarded the 1981 James Tait Black Memorial Prize for The Mosquito Coast, which was adapted for the 1986 film of the same name and the 2021 television series of the same name.

In the publisher’s original cloth with the original bright, unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent. Dust wrappers excellent. Creasing to spine heads and tails of wrap and further creasing and age toning to edges of boards, and reverse wrap, of earliest two volumes (Arsenal and Palaces). Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright, age toned only to Mosquito Coast.
