A work of science fiction authored by pioneering astronomer Fred Hoyle who formulated the theory of stellar nucleosynthesis, alongside his son, Geoffrey Hoyle, a science fiction author.

This is the sequel to Fred and Geoffrey Hoyle's novel "Rockets in Ursa Major", and follows the characters from that work as they plan to evade the rapid approach of a vast engulfing cloud of hydrogen.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper in excellent condition, with small closed tear to front wrap head, and a touch of edgewear to back strip tail and to head and tail of rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned to perimeters due to paper type, otherwise clean and bright.
