First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

All first editions, first impressions, with the exception of 'The Peregrine Falcon' which is a second edition.

All complete with the publisher's original unclipped dust wrappers.  

Containing fifteen volumes in total published by T & A D Poyser, ranging from species-specific studies to wider regional birds, such as the Arctic and forests. With chapters exploring habits, populations, movement patterns, defining characteristics and origins. 

Each volume is illustrated with many in-text illustrations and figures, as well as a number of monochrome or coloured plates as detailed below.

Condition

In the original cloth bindings. With the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, both cloth and dust wrappers are excellent, with mostly mild signs of shelf wear to the spines' heads and tails. Small closed tear to the spine head of 'Birds and Forestry' and the odd mark or handling mark across all wraps. Minor offsetting to the front wrap of 'Nuthatches'. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
