'The Milagro Beanfield War' is a brilliant novel set in early 1970s Milagro in New Mexico, the first book in the author's New Mexico trilogy. This novel follows a developer, Ladd Devine, as he seeks to turn the Miracle Valley Recreation Area into an upscale vacation resort.

By John Nichols.

This novel was adapted to screen in 1988, directed by Robert Redford.

With decorations throughout by Rini Templeton.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light marks to the cloth. Spot to the fore edge. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn. Spine is sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
