Written by Kenneth Mackenzie Clark, a British art historian, museum director and broadcaster. Translated by Andre de Vilmorin, a French horticulturalist and translator. Previously held in the library of Gerald Cinamon, an American book designer who was Penguin Books’ main designer of arts and architecture titles, becoming its chief designer in the mid-1970s. He was considered one of the most skilled designers of his generation.

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
