A set of five brilliant detective works by Michael Innes, the pseudonym of J. I. M. Stewart. Each volume here, besides 'Going It Alone', features either Lord Appleby, or Charles Honeybath, both popular detective characters created by Innes.

In the original publisher's cloth bindings, each volume in their original dust wrapper, all unclipped except for 'The Mysterious Commission', which is price-clipped. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head of the spine of 'Going it Alone' and 'Honeybath's Haven'. Bookseller's label to the front paste down of 'The Mysterious Commission', and a gift inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Stamp to the bottom edge of 'Honeybath's Haven'. Very minor edge wear and handling marks to the dust wrappers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
