A history of Child & Co., a formerly independent private bank in the United Kingdom, considered the third-oldest bank in the world and the oldest bank in the UK, predating the Bank of England by thirty years. Written to mark its three hundredth year of banking at the same address. Written by Philip Clarke, a British businessman.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small mark. Ink annotations to pages 52 and 53.
