    The first edition, first printing, in the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.

    An anthology which includes three short stories, and six extracts from longer works.

    This work is viewed as valuable due to the inclusion of the rare texts of 'A Journey Lately Performed Through the Air, in an Aerostatic Globe. To the Newly Discovered Planet, Georgium Sidus' by Vivenair (1784), and 'The Great Steam-Duck', credited to 'A Member of the L.L.B.B.' (1841).

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper lightly age toned to back strip and rear wrap. Small chip to back strip head. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
