This work is the third in a series of autobiographical novels by Mary Noel Streatfeild, an English author, and follows her years during the Second World War and her time in the Women's Voluntary Services.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only slight shelf wear and a very minimal lean. Minor offsetting and spotting to the endpapers. The wrap is very smart with slight sunning to the spine, small chips, marks, light spotting and minimal rubbing to the extremities. Marks to the verso. Internally firmly bound with clean and lightly age toned pages.
