Written by Leslie Linder, an English scholar and collector who, upon his death, left the V&A his unrivalled personal collection of about over two thousand Beatrix Potter drawings, manuscripts and books.
Condition
In the original hardcovers. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound with light wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the panels. Sunning to the spine with a 4" closed tear to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light spotting to the fore-edge and endpapers.
