Amis won many awards during his time, including the Booker Prize, which he was shortlisted for three times before finally winning in 1986.

In the original quarter cloth binding and held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is bumped to the head and tail of spine. Light rubbing to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean.
