This is Jonathan Swift’s first popular satire and arguably one of his most complex. Through a mock-apologetic style, Swift critiques the dominant religion of his time, taking particular aim at the divisions within Christianity (Catholicism, Anglicanism, and Dissenters) under the allegorical guise of three brothers.

In full morocco binding. Externally, very smart. One or two handling marks to boards and very slight rubbing to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. One or two spots to fore edge.
