The Cabbage Princess is a charming children's story set in the 18th century. It is a story of a bad-tempered King who complained about everything and called everyone names. Within the course of the story, the King is offered a powerful enchanter and learns how dangerous name calling can be.

It is accompanied by fourteen illustrations by Errol Le Cain which draw on 18th century artistic styles. Through his technique, Errol Le Cain creates a world that bursts with life and colour.

In the original publisher's pictorial boards in the original price clipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart. Light marks to the dust wrapper. Spotting to the reverse of the dust wrapper. The boards are bright and clean. Internally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
