A reprint of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding. William Charles Smith (1881-1972) was an English musicologist who specialised in musical bibliographies and was considered an authority on Handel. He was particularly interested in 17th and 18th century musical figures in England. In this work, he provides a musical bibliography of the music publisher John Walsh the Elder, between 1695 and 1720. This is a reprint of the original work first published in 1948.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally smart, with just some light shelf wear to the boards. Lower extremity to the rear board has been bumped. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for a light scattering of spot to the first and last couple of pages.
