'The Dorak Affair' refers to the mysterious unsolved crime involving British archaeologist, James Mellaart.
When he was assisted by a Greek girl to uncover Royal tombs in Dorak, the treasures and girl were both announced missing soon after the publishing of his discoveries.
This telling of the author's travels and investigations across Turkey to attempt at piecing together the evidence are told in the same style as a mystery novel, with the difference being that everything is indeed fact.
