In the original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. With the original matching slipcase. Externally, excellent, with only minor shelf wear. Small ex libris bookplate of one John Lewis to the front pastedown. Slipcase is very smart indeed, with a couple spots to the boards and minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the odd spot to the endpapers.
