'Hornblower and the Crisis' is the final Hornblower novel, left unfinished upon Forester's death. It's the fourth book in the chronological sequence.
C. S. Forester is best known for his Horatio Hornblower series, though he also wrote 'Payment Deferred', 'Brown on Resolution', and 'The African Queen'. He also wrote short stories set during the Second World War, in which he fought and subsequently met Roald Dahl.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, fine, with a couple of very light spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper with light edgewear, and a tape repair to the reverse. Light tidemark to the reverse of the dustwrapper. Rubbing to the spine of the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
