Including the uncommon uncorrected proof and the first edition, first impression of this play, ‘Adventures in the Skin Trade’, by Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas. Uncorrected proof bound in the publisher’s wraps, and the first edition bound in the original cloth, complete with the original unclipped dust wrapper. The play is an adaption of the unfinished novel written by Thomas, which sees protagonist Samuel Bennet leave his home in South Wales to pursue a career in London. He is met with an assortment of bizarre characters and a surreal experience of the city.

Uncorrected proof bound in the publisher’s wraps, and the first edition bound in the original cloth, complete with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with only minor shelf wear. Dust wrapper is very smart, with sunning to the spine and edge wear. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
