A few hours later, the craft crashes in the Pacific Ocean, leaving Johnny adrift in the flotsam from the wreckage. His life is saved by the "People of the Sea". Written by Sir Arthur Charles Clarke, an English science fiction writer, science writer, futurist, inventor, undersea explorer, and television series host. Best known as the author of the book, and co-writer of the screenplay for the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey, widely regarded as one of the most influential films of all time.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light bumping to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light spotting to the fore-edge. A 1" closed tear to the front free endpaper.
