Agatha Christie is one of the most prolific and successful detective writers of her time, writing sixty-six detective novels in total. She is best known for her protagonists Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

'Poirot Investigates', published in 1966. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. This is a charming collection of eleven short stories in which famed eccentric detective Hercule Poirot solves a variety of mysteries involving greed, jealousy, and revenge.

'The Secret of Chimneys', published in 1966. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. This is a thrilling murder mystery novel, taking place at a house party at Chimneys. This is a fast-paced novel in which a group of guests find themselves stuck at a weekend party at a manor. One of the guests, leaving those remaining scrambling to find out whodunnit before another dies...

'The Secret Adversary', published in 1966. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. This is Christie's second detective novel, and her first of five novels that feature Tommy and Tuppence. In this novel, Tommy and Tuppence are childhood friends struggling to find work after World War One. Together they decide to start a business together, known as The Young Adventurers.

'The Man in the Brown Suit', published in 1978. In the original clipped dust wrapper, with publisher's price sticker to the front flyleaf. One of Agatha Christie's first murder mystery novels, a detective work in which a woman sees a man die in a tube station, getting pulled into a mysterious plot.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original dust wrappers, all unclipped except for 'Man in the Brown Suit', which is clipped, with a publisher's price sticker to the front fly leaf. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines. Fading to the joints of 'Poirot Investigates', and light marks to the boards and fading to the spine. Bookseller's label to the front paste downs. Light edge wear to the dust wrappers, a little heavier to 'Poirot Investigates', with small chips and closed tears. A little light rubbing and light handling marks to the wraps. Tidemark to the reverse of 'Poirot Investigates' and 'The Secret of Chimneys', and a small tidemark to the reverse of 'The Secret Adversary'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
