The first edition, first impression, second state of this work, as is most common, with a plain black front board. The first state had a golden gun in gilt to the front board, of which less than one thousand copies were printed.
In the original unclipped dustwrapper.
'The Man With The Golden Gun' is the twelfth and final Bond novel, as Bond is missing and presumed dead after his previous mission in Japan.
This novel was adapted into a film in 1974 with Roger Moore starring as Bond.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart, with very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light edge wear to the dust wrapper, tide mark to the front wrap and spine, resulting in wrinkling of the paper and only a small amount of discolouration. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
