This work was written by Anthony Burgess (John Anthony Burgess Wilson), a British writer and composer. The story was originally planned as a play but was re-written when he was unable to find a willing theatre, but eventually premiered as a play in 1979. The story includes themes of marriage.

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely with only the slightest shelf wear. The wrap is excellent with sunning to the spine. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
