This volume intends to give a complete picture of the enamels in the Georgian National Museum of Fine Arts, which has one of the richest collections in the world. Written by Shalva Amiranashvili, a Georgian art historian and one of the first to have engaged in systematic scholarly treatment of the art of Georgia.
Condition
In the original red cloth binding. Externally, excellent with minor fading to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart with light wear and the odd small closed tear to the panel edges. Light sunning to the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with minor age toning to the endpapers.
