Anthony Burgess was an English writer who was perhaps best known for his dystopian satire, A Clockwork Orange. The Eve of St. Venus is a humourous tale on the subject of marriage. With illustrations throughout by Edward Pagram.
Condition
In a green cloth binding in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent. Some light shelfwear and minor handling marks. Dustwrapper is also excellent with just some slight age-toning to edges. Price sticker to front flyleaf and bookseller's label to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with occasional light spotting to edges.
