Description

Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Slipcase

A facsimile of the original manuscript titled ‘Alice’s Adventures Under Ground’, which Carroll wrote for Alice Liddell, the daughter of his friend Henry Liddell.  

In the publisher’s original cloth binding. With the original matching slipcase. 

The manuscript is charmingly illustrated with Carroll’s own drawings, which were reinterpreted by John Tenniel for the work’s publication.  

 

Condition

In the original cloth binding. With the original matching slipcase. Externally, lovely. Slipcase is excellent, with minor signs of shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
