Condition

In original publisher's cloth binding with unclipped dust wrappers, except The Garrick Year which has a clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent condition, furnished only with a few faint marks and slight shelf wear. Dust wrappers very nice. Some shelf wear, and a few small closed tears to the top and bottom edges of the first three volumes. The Garrick Year has been reinforced with archival binding. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean with the exception of The Garrick Year which suffers from slight spotting to the first and last few pages. The Garrick Year is signed to the title page with the inscription, "with many thanks and all best wishes".
