What Our Customers Say...

Description

Illustrated, Original Binding, Uncommon

An uncommon 7 volume set of influential titles by the Bronte sisters.

Handsome, quarter morocco bound copies from the sisters' impressive body of work, with richly coloured cloth boards, and corresponding gilt and coloured motifs to each spine.

This set is populated with the work of various artists, including Walter Hoyle, whose work can be found in the British Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Charles Keeping - an illustrator of many titles, including the complete works of Charles Dickens', also for the Folio Society, and a number of children's titles.

Each title features a frontispiece, and 72 total further illustrated plates.
Collated, complete.

In original grey slipcases, in lovely condition.
