Edited by Douglas Cooper, a British art historian, critic and collector who specialised in Cubist works. He was also involved in investigating who had dealt with stolen art during the war.
With an introduction by Kenneth Clark, a British art historian, museum director and broadcaster who is particularly associated with Italian Renaissance art and Leonardo da Vinci.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. With the original clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor rubbing to the spine tail and a small minor mark to the front board. Dust wrapper is smart, with edge wear and a couple closed tears to the wrap. Tape to the spine head and tail and slight loss to the spine tail. Glassine is sunned to the spine, with edge wear and light chipping to the spine head and tail. Also with a chip to the fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
