The first Book Club edition, published the same year as the Jonathan Cape true first edition, with the original pictorial dust wrapper.
Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally generally smart; some slight discolouration and bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is worn to the head of the spine, with a tear crossing the joint, and chipped to the tail, as well as slight wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
