The second impression of this 'new and redesigned edition' of Christie's early short story collection, which was initially published by The Bodley Head in 1924.

Christie published her first six novels with The Bodley Head, before moving on to Collins. In the 1960s, The Bodley Head reissued the Christie novels with new dust wrappers.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with fading to back strip, and light shelf wear to back strip tail. A touch of fading to dust wrapper back strip, with minor chip to back strip tail, and chipping and loss to back strip head. Small spot to rear wrap, with light handling marks to wrap perimeters. Small closed tear to front wrap tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
