A 1961 edition of this novel, in the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.
A price label to the dust wrapper front flyleaf notes 'First Cheap Edition 7/6 Net'. This is not, however, the first cheap edition of the novel; a late 1920s cheap edition was produced by the 'Bob Novels' series.
This novel features Agatha Christie's famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot and is set on the French Riviera.
The novel concerns the murder of an American heiress on Le Train Bleu, the titular "Blue Train".
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Shelf wear to back strip tail, otherwise externally excellent. Chipping and small losses to dust wrapper back strip head and tail. Handling marks to tail of rear wrap, with small closed tear to head of rear wrap. Light rubbing to front wrap tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
