A collection of lectures exploring the parallels within the circle of early Celtic literatures and folklore, widening the discussion with ideas of the nature, origin, diffusion, and recitation of the international popular tales. Written by Prof Kenneth Hurlstone Jackson, an English linguist and a translator who specialised in the Celtic languages.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear only. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd mark to the panels. Sunning to the spine and panel edges. A small crease to the front fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Further spotting and light age toning to the endpapers.
