Description

Decorative Binding

In the original Czech.

The very scarce first edition of this folding children's house, which features a Czech translation of Maria Razusova-Martakova's 1957 children's tale 'Kozliatka'. Translated by Jan Noha.

Illustrated in full colour to each board by Alojz Klimo.

While two boards tell the tale of these little goats and the wolf who hunts them, the pictorial boards fold out to display a house, with both the outer and inner walls fully illustrated.

With the label of Michael and Megan Dawson, a husband and wife who established a successful business dealing in and restoring pop-up books, to the head of one panel.
