What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first UK edition, first impression of this P. G. Wodehouse novel, in a price unclipped later issue dust wrapper, lettered in white only, rather than the yellow and white of the first issue.

First published in the US in the same year under the title 'The Ice in the Bedroom', this is the first UK edition.

The story of 'Ice in The Bedroom' was originally published in a condensed form in the 'Toronto Star Weekly'. In this full length work, Wodehouse expands the tale and includes many much loved characters from other works, including Drones Club members Oofy Professor and Freddie Widgeon.

The eighth Blandings novel.

A wonderful first edition from the prolific twentieth century humourist.
