The sixty-ninth book of the Biggles series, which was written for young readers, and features James Bigglesworth as a fictional pilot and adventurer. These popular works were written by William Earl Johns (1893 -1968), who was himself a pilot in the First World War.

With illustrations by Leslie Stead, who worked on many of the books in the Biggles series.

Condition

In the original pictorial laminated boards. Externally, very smart and bright with just a little wear to the laminate to the front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
