Betjeman's poetry within this volume acts as a sort of autobiography of the English poet, writer and broadcaster. Some of the poems that appear in this volume include The Dawn of Guilt, Highgate and Cornwall in Childhood. 

In the original clipped dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. Previous owner inscription to the reverse of the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages with very light scattered spots to the first few pages. In the original clipped dust wrapper which is very smart with some light fading and spots to the front wrap.
