Written in blank verse, this collection of poetry is an autobiography describing the author's earliest memories of a middle-class home in London, through to his departure from the University of Oxford. The work was adapted into a television film in 1976. Written by John Betjeman, an English poet, writer, and broadcaster who was poet laureate from 1972 until his death in 1984. Illustrated by Michael Tree, a British artist and illustrator.
