Leonard was one of the friends that formed the notorious Bloomsbury Group, with Lytton Strachey, Maynard Keynes, Roger Fry, and others.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The dust wrapper is smart with some shelf wear and chipping, and a minor loss to the head and tail of the spine as well as some sunning to the spine. Unclipped. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with various photographs in black and white.
