This novel follows sailor Frankie Love as he get in trouble with the law, and simultaneously the young Constable Justice, who has just stepped into the ranks of the law and finds the upholding of it complicated by love.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. Spine is slightly cocked, with light bumping to the head and tail. Bookplate of W. H. Smith and Son Library to the front pastedown. Dust wrapper is smart, with general edge wear and sunning only visible to the inside of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with occasional scattered spots, heaviest to the first and last few leaves.
