This is the eighth publication and first short-story collection from Ian Fleming to feature 007 agent James Bond. It comprises five short stories: 'From a View to a Kill', 'For Your Eyes Only', 'Quantum of Solace', 'Risico' and 'The Hildebrand Rarity'.
Four of the stories were adaptations of plots for a television series that was never filmed, while the fifth Fleming had written previously but not published. Elements from the stories have been used in several Bond films, including the title of the 1981 film, For Your Eyes Only, starring Roger Moore as Bond.

In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart indeed, with a few minor marks to the front board and a touch of shelf wear. Dust wrapper is smart, with sunning to the spine and handling marks to the wrap. With a few faint spots to the rear panel. Mild edge wear to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound.
