Written by Thomas Stearns Eliot, an American poet, essayist and playwright considered to be one of the twentieth century's greatest poets, as well as a central figure in English-language Modernist poetry.
Condition
In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor fading to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also very smart with light sunning to the spine and panel edges, and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with minor spotting and age toning to the endpapers. Contemporary pencil inscription to the front endpaper. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown.
