Jacquetta Hawkes was the first woman to study the Archaeology & Anthropology degree course at the University of Cambridge and simultaneously performed archeological excavations whilst writing, campaigning and researching.

Condition

In the original cloth binding and original clipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear to head and tail of spine. Front board cloth has slight offsetting. Dust wrapper is in very good condition with scattered spotting to the inside of the wrap. Light handling marks and slightly stained spinal panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
