Early and Later Shakespeare contain fifteen monochrome photographic plates across the two volumes (seven and eight, respectively). Collated, complete.

Condition

In the publishers' original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear and marginal discolouration of the extremities to Themes and Coriolanus vols. Dust wrappers very smart with the odd spot to front, rear and reverse of wraps. Age toning to wraps. The odd mark to Themes and rear wrap of Early Shakespeare vols. Marginal discolouration to Early and Later vols, and the odd chip and closed tear to Themes. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright with marginal age toning and the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few. Extensive contemporary ink inscriptions to front free end papers of Coriolanus and Early Shakespeare vols.
