Illustrated throughout with full page and vignette monochrome and full colour illustrations.
The first volume of this periodical celebrating the visual arts, edited by Ruari McLean. The journal ran from 1958 to 1967, and covered subjects on art, typography, design and more. This volume features contributions such as an article on the sculptures and drawings of Elisabeth Frink written by the noted Laurie Lee, a series of exclusive drawings on Brighton by Lynton Lamb, and an article by the prolific artist, Edward Ardizzone.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial hardback. Externally, very smart with sunning to the spine and extremities, and slight rubbing to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages with only minimal age toning to the extremities.
