What Our Customers Say...

The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper.
Frank Norman, a British novelist and playwright, secured his revised reputation with this memoir after his previous succession of imprisonment for petty crimes and a three-year stretch at Camp Hill Prison on the Isle of Wight.
This work offers a vivid account of his time during these years, immersing the reader with anecdotes and witty use of Norman's unique terms, such as naming the warders 'screws' and his fellow prisoners as 'geezers'.
