Pioneers in Printing by Sean Jennet (1958). This volume is a first edition. This copy is illustrated with six double sided monochrome plates and one plate reproduced across two pages. Collated, complete. This is a historical survey of key figures and innovations in the development of printing.

A Handwriting Manual by Alfred Fairbank (1961). This volume is the third edition. This volume is illustrated with 16 double sided monochrome plates to rear, reproducing 40 samples of handwriting from various sources, and a monochrome frontispiece. Collated, complete. This is a comprehensive guide and study into the art and technique of fine handwriting.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Externally, very smart. Slight fading to extremities. Very slight rubbing to extremities. Offsetting to endpapers of "Pioneers." Stamp from Newcastle Upon Tyne Training College to rear paste down of "Handwriting." Dust wrappers, smart. Fading to spines. Slight soiling to wraps, with one or two slight handling marks. Slight age toning to wraps. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to fore edge and first and last few leaves. Library stamp from Newcastle Upon Tyne Training College to title page, limitation page, page 15 and page 77 of "Handwriting."
